Hi. I followed your video exactly with my R5. It took a 30 second exposure but only every 30 seconds. Not every 3 seconds. Am I doing something wrong?

Assuming youre using auto iso, i dont really see the difference between manual mode. In manual mode you have dedicated control over shutter or aperture. The only difference is in Fv mode, pressing the trash button on one setting to switch back to auto, or long pressing to set them all to auto.

If only the software wasn't 5 years old at this point in 2024, and respected things like Dark Mode in MacOS so it was usable.

I love that you addressed the issue so it would be a non-issue. That’s what make a good photographer. I’m also sceptical of super zooms that’s why I end up lugging heavy Canon L and Nikon Gold Ring Lenses. But I really want an all purpose lens that can do it all. I will give this a try. Thanks!

I have an original Canon's BG-R10 for my R5 and this battery grip is an absolutely sh*t product. The only one slot can see the battery, sometimes it says "your LP-E6NH is a counterfeit (but actually it is kit battery comes with a new R5)", also it works very bad with a third-party batteries. All this problem gone when you remove BG-R10 from camera and use a battery placed right in camera. Most funny thing about BG-R10 is its firmware. You can update it theoretically but no ANY info from Canon about that. Canon guys know the BG-R10 is a fail so they update it with a new model BG-R20

multiple exposure menu is not active. When I try to open it, it gives a warning saying "Cannot be used due to clarity". I changed many things in the AF menu, but still multiple exposure was not activated.

Hello! Im running into a problem wity my HDR mode. Sometimes when I take HDR Dynamic Range pictures they come out as .HIF files and nothing really supports .HIF. I was wondering if you knew how to make it so they always come out as .jpg files?

in my case shutter velocities seems not to be right, and the viewfinder has some fungus or something similar

These definitely 'micro adjustments'. They question is: are they worth in regular photography like branding or portraits on a daily basis?

I have this lens. Yes, it is not perfect. However, it is sharp and bokeh is not terrible. Frankly speaking, this is not a full frame lens thru the whole zoom range - depending upon zoom settings and distances to subject image megapixels may be substantially less than the full sensor resolution. I bought my lens for less than 400 USD. For this price I can tolerate the deficiencies. I would never buy this lens for 1000 USD.

I did this but all the photos that my client downloaded was resized from 5GB to 200mb. From 34MP to 4ish MP. So not very usable.

This is all SDR.... uploaded in SDR, you converted everything in your FinalCut edit to SDR rec.709 so that's just tonemapped HDR down to the smaller colour space of rec.709 - please retitle this video, it's not a guide and is very misleading as it's titled like a tutorial but you're literally doing it wrong.

what is the most current rf 15-35 firmware update ? and it shows nothing for Sonoma 14.4.1 but shows update for previous Macos ..should I download current firmware for rf 15.35 2.8 from past Mac os like Catalina even though the system im on is now updated to Sonoma 14.4.1?

I couldn't afford the RF 24-104mm F4 to pair with my RP. So, I chose this 24-240 over the 24-104mm F4-7.1 kit lens. Now, it is my traveling lens. It is suitable for a hobbyist like me.

set up my canon r6 as per your excellent video on star trails. I set number of shots at 99 but only got 76. What can I do to speed up the record time on the card 170mb/sec so I don't get the BUSY warning.

thank you i think i managed to unlock and fix my om1n but it still got locked somehow. turning the spring one turn to put more pressure on it prevent the locking for me.

I can see you are using Mac. XDR 32 inch displays are so expensive. But any macbook pro 14 or 16, starting from M1, has an XDR display. XDR means in Apple language "Good HDR display to Apple standards". Davinci works perfectly with it. FCP should do the same. No need "refence" monitor. Or. Try to load any of your PQ from camera to YT. Wait 1-2days it will display in HDR for new samsungs and iphones. Notmally, you need to boost gains a bit and export in PQ for instagram.

I recently bought this lens and am was starting to panic watching some very critical video reviews this afternoon. Happy to hear some positives of this sense once you move in beyond 24mm. Nice video, thank you.
